Here is a list of food I always have stocked away in my Pantry:
- Olive Oil/Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Vegetable Oil/Canola Oil
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Chicken Stock
- Flour, Sugar, Brown Sugar (stored in OXO pop top containers to keep them fresh)
- Honey (from a farm, not store bought)
- Grade B Maple Syrup
- Raisins, and other dried fruits
- Kosher Salt/Pepper Grinder for fresh cracked pepper
- Sea Salt
- Roasted Red Peppers
- Rice (brown or white)
- Cous Cous
- Canned Tomatoes (sauce, diced, whole) Try for San Marzano
- Coconut Milk
- Worcestershire
- Low Sodium Soy Sauce
Some things I’ve recently discovered that have changed the way I cook:
- Garlic Infused Olive Oil (I don’t know how I lived without this)
- My own blend of spice (Equal parts granulated garlic powder and sea salt, plus white pepper)
- Ground Chipotle Powder
- Pure Tomato Powder
